A Scarf for Me and My Friend!

Today, I decided to make a scarf with one of my favorite fabrics, jersey-knit. When I walked in the fabric store, my eyes feasted on two things this green an grey light jersey fabric and all the bubble trims. Hmm...I say why not give it a try? I made two. One for me and the other for my friend who will come to break fast with me at my home this Ramadan. The fabric was 60 inches wide and I bought 2 yards. A good size scarf for coverage.

Jersey-knit fabric doesn't need hemming, but you can definitely put it on to avoid the edges rollin' in.

I trimmed all the edges and cut it down the middle in half to make two scarves. For the bubble trim. I always say a little goes a long way. This is why I only put the bubble trim on the corner.

I cut the one strand of the trim into 4 equal size pieces.

I then sewed the trim to the scarf. You can also do it with a needle, if you don't have a sewing machine.

It got dark by the time I finished(the work of an amateur).

Hope my friend likes it:-)
