GIVEAWAY: Pearl Boutique Stylin'!

Get ready for some stylin' fun!

Pearl Boutique is a U.S., Texas based scarf boutique established in 2000 that not only sells scarves, but provides styling sessions. Its young entrepreneur Zeena Alkurdi, owner and designer, hopes to bring empowerment and encouragement through her design skills to all Muslim women.

What's behind their phrase

"Because every Pearl deserves a fabulous oyster."?

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali once described the concept of "hijab" to his daughter:

“Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to [...] where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean covered up and protected in a beautiful shell [...] you’ve got to work hard to get to them. Your body is sacred. You’re far more precious than pearls..., and you should be covered too.”

Let the fun begin....

We have paired up to do a fun stylin' giveaway, so let's get down to biz!

Well fashionistas, if you missed Ndaa Hassan’s Fashion for Compassion June 1, in Dallas you really missed an explosive event of style, color and design.  This was the second year she produced the show as a benefit for the Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation and it exceeded even her expectations.  “I did not think it would go this smooth,” she told Sweet Modesty.  “It was so perfect, there was no trouble back stage, and the models and stylists were great.”

Label Yasmina Johnston.
